Everything up to the PS1 era. NES, SNES, Game Boy, GBA, Mega Drive and arcade run beautifully, and most of the PS1 library is smooth. The 4:3 IPS panel is the native shape of those games, so nothing is stretched or letterboxed — which is why they look better here than on a widescreen handheld.
Dual 3D analogue sticks, not a d-pad and two shoulder buttons. Most handhelds at this price skip them, and they are exactly what PS1 and N64 titles were designed around. It is the single clearest reason to choose the R36S over a Miyoo Mini or an RG35XX.
The originals are in a loft somewhere, next to cables for a television nobody owns. The emulator on your laptop works but you never open it, because playing a Game Boy game hunched over a keyboard is not the same thing at all.

No downloads, no account, no firmware to flash before you can play. Later, if you want to add your own ROMs or change emulator settings, ArkOS makes that straightforward and the community is enormous. But none of that is required to start.

Product arrived on time, works perfectly, delivered with cleaning wipe and instruction manual (under plastic protection). It seems that if we need to change the SD card, there are no issues for the moment.

very interesting set-top box, a lot of games. Of course, it’s not suitable for Nintendo DS, the psp emulator is not very good, it lights up.
It's perfect! Exactly what i ordered and it came in about 8 days. It's a legit r36s with arkos 2.0, fully updated with battery percentage and volume display ( how to tell it's updated) not as powerful as a good phone but will play pokemon and zelda no problem. Thank you all so much i'll be ordering a white one soon for a gift
